Adiantum aethiopicum 'Valley Mist Maidenhair Fern' 14cm

 The Maidenhair Fern is a popular finely foliaged native evergreen fern with soft, apple-green coloured triangular leaflets on polished black stems that arch gracefully. These plants are the best to use indoors in a well-lit room, conservatory or outdoors in a sheltered position.  If kept outside, place in a shady position in rich, draining soil. A beautiful and lush fern that adds to most perfect amount of greenery to any space.

Maidenhair Ferns can also be used in terrariums for a fun display in the home. Keep them away from heaters and air conditioning units as they will scorch the edges of the leaves. These plants have high water requirements. They need to be kept moist at all times of the year but not soaked.
