Euphorbia trigona, originally from Africa,  is a desert succulent plant and is drought tolerant. It is grown for its attractive upright cacti-looking stems which are triangular and frilly in appearance. This plant should be watered moderately once a week, but make sure to let the soil dry out between each watering to mimic its natural habitat.
